The Fine Print
Now for the boring, but necessary administrative details:
Once you have made contact with us to plan your travel adventure, we require a $500 deposit to hold your reservation. Then, within 7 days, we require payment of 50% of the total advertised itinerary cost. This allows us to begin booking some of the services for your travel plans that will be non-refundable to us. Therefore, we will not be able to offer a refund of this 50% deposit, unless your trip is canceled by Custom Micro Tours. We recommend at this point that you secure a travel protection insurance policy to provide financial reimbursement in the event that you are not able to participate in the tour you booked.
You can arrange travel protection insurance through one of the companies listed below. These are reputable travel insurance companies with whom we have no affiliation, but have used ourselves in the past. We reserve the right to cancel a trip should our minimum group size not be met for the tour. If this were to happen we would of course refund the full deposit amount you have thus far paid us.
The remaining balance for the trip will be due 90 days before the departure date. For our Ireland tour, the remaining balance will be due by June 8th, 2025.
~We heavily encourage all travelers with us to consider making travel protection insurance arrangements. Please read below to help make your decision on this important subject.
